The Rothko Pavilion project will consist of a 4-story building addition that will connect the museum’s two existing buildings by incorporating an open covered passageway between 10th and Park Avenues and increase accessibility throughout the museum. The work also involves adding new elevators, restrooms, a terrace on the 2nd floor, community commons, relocation of a loading dock, and the renovation of the entire museum campus. The Portland Art Museum engaged Urban Resources, Inc. as the Owner’s rep during the early design stage of the project that began in August of 2018.
