Volta

Volta is the latest addition to Portland Central Eastside "Electric Blocks" and serves as the new headquarters for BORA, the project's Architect of Record. URI provided Owner's Rep services for Killian Pacific, the developer responsible for the core and shell renovation of the 41,000-square-foot former electrical warehouse, transforming it into modern Class A office space. Key features of the Volta Building include a striking LED art wall, murals painted by local street artists, and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces that were made possible by creating large openings in the existing concrete structure. Completed in 2022, the project achieved LEED Platinum Certification.
