Summary:
Stratus Village is a 175-unit affordable housing development in McMinnville, Oregon. The project consists of four residential, three-story walk-up buildings surrounding a central courtyard with outdoor picnic space, an off-leash dog area, playground, and garden boxes. The single story clubhouse serves as a community center, leasing office, and has additional offices for community partners. The development sets aside 20 units for members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, 16 units for agricultural workers, 10 units for those experiencing homelessness, and 10 units for those with serious mental illnesses. The rest of the units are for those living at or below 60% of the area median income. URI worked closely with the Housing Authority of Yamhill County, Structure Development Advisors, and the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde as the Owner's Representative from 2023-2026.
