ACM Blueberry Packaging Facility

This blueberry packaging facility located in Sublimity, OR started construction in Winter 2017 with a design-build approach that consisted of two phases. Phase I involved the remodeling of an existing Christmas tree seedling facility and the addition of $2.5 mil of refrigeration. Phase II involved nearly doubling the size of the facility by adding a 13,000 SF dry-storage building and a 16,600 SF cooler building. The project ended up with over 1,900 pallet rack positions, 10 loading docks with automatic dock levelers, 6 high-speed fabric roller doors, and two Unitec blueberry sorting and grading machines. With their new state of the art facility, ACM is able to pack one million pounds of blueberries and ship out up to 100 trucks of products per day.
