Summary:
Urban Resources, Inc. was hired by a NW utility company to provide preconstruction and construction management services for their Clark County Resource Center. A new two-story office building was constructed to category four structural standards for immediate operation after a seismic event. The warehouse project included an expansion to accommodate auto technician facilities and truck washing equipments, as well as a renovation to transform the space into a dedicated fitness center for employees. Site improvements involved the reconfiguration of parking areas, enhancements to the stormwater management system, upgraded lighting, and the installation of secure perimeter fencing. Additionally, metal structures were constructed to support decant operations, a truck scale, excavation bins, enclosed vehicle storage, and material storage. A covered fueling island was also built to facilitate gas and diesel fueling for vehicles.
